The Memphis, Tennessee native realized he had a knack for making music while incarcerated in a Tennessee prison. “I was in a program and in that group, it forced me to tap into something I really didn't know I had in me,” explains the rapper. X Da Hustla created his stage name based off his skill for hustling and his respect to how Muslims use the letter X as signs of a new beginning or a fresh start in life. The artist’s creative juices flows best when he taps into the pain he has suffered throughout the years. Realizing his environment was not the best he shifted his surroundings to a place that was more cultivating to his development. He currently resides in Houston, Texas he has resided there since the age of 17. The 30-year-old believes that his music will influence fans to aspire higher because they can be anything they want if they think positive and stay focused on their goals. He has overcome his own obstacles and is now focused on inspiring others to do the same. “My music is versatile to my ideal demographic is for teens, men and women in their 30’s, people who are energetic and self-made,” states the young rapper. “I see my music going global I know that I will have a huge impact on the world and I sometimes fear the reach that I may one day obtain.” The artist is currently pushing his single Talk It which is available on all digital platforms. X is calling out counterfeit or fake haters while boasting of his authenticity in the streets using a catchy flow on a hard-hitting beat.
